Parents of Lighthouse Students!
The Hope Center Harvest Carnival is tonight and it is finally feeling like Fall is upon us! I hope you are all settled into the rhythms of school and are getting excited for the holidays.
As you know, things get busy quick for all of us during the holiday season. Please use the calendar enclosed to help keep your student connected to Lighthouse. Below are a couple of things that I’d like to highlight for you.
First, we have two major outreach nights happening in the next two months. We’ll be going Ice Skating on Wednesday, November 30th at the Walnut Creek Ice Skating Rink in Civic Park. We’ll be ending our time together that night at Skipolini’s Pizza. Please encourage/support your students in inviting their friends!
Our second big outreach is going to be our Christmas Party on Wednesday, December 14th. This will be at the Karlsrud’s house – 3051 Lester Road in Martinez. Our big goal is to have 50 students at this event. Again, please support your student’s effort to invite their friends.
Switching gears to Summer, HUME LAKE is coming this June! We have officially reserved spots for Hume Lake’s Ponderosa Camp, June 11-17 of 2017. Our goal is to bring 50 students to this camp and we are working to get enough spots to do this. It is to your advantage to reserve a spot for your student as soon as possible. We will host a HUME information gathering on Sunday, January 15th, between first and second service.
As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We are continually grateful to be working alongside you, your family and your students in the Kingdom of God.
