Hello Parents of Hume Lake 2017 Campers!
We are just days away from going to camp and we wanted to remind you of a few things as we prepare to go to camp.
Please be to Hope Center no later than 8 AM with a bag lunch for the drive. We will be making 1 bathroom stop along the way.
If you are bringing any prescription or over the counter medication, including vitamins, as noted on the medical forms for Hume, it must be in the original pharmaceutical containers and given to Katie Falgien Sunday morning at check-in, before we get on the bus.
The next thing to keep in mind as you prepare for camp is the list of things to bring and not to bring.
From Hume’s website:
What to bring: Bible, notebook, pencil, flashlight, sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, warm and cool clothes, jacket, modest one-piece swimsuit (no tankinis), a towel for swimming and showering, $60 recommended spending money.
(Remember: Girls no bare midriffs or spaghetti straps; guys, no sagging or muscle tanks.)
What NOT to bring: Drugs (unless prescribed by a doctor), alcohol, tobacco, fireworks, firearms, electronic devices.
Please note that there is no cell phone reception or wifi at the camp. If there is an emergency and you need to get a hold of Katie or Ian, please call the camp directly. The number for Hume Lake Christian Camp is 559.305.7770. We look forward to having a great week with your students at camp!
Reminder: all final payments were due by May 28th. If you have questions about your final payment amount please contact the email@example.com, asap. You can pay on-line by using the Hope Center on-line payment link here. And if you have not already turned in your students current year-long permission slip (click here to print one). Please make sure to bring a completed & signed copy with you Sunday morning.
