Hi Parents,
As you have hopefully already read, yesterday we kicked off a Wednesday series called Health. Ian has lined up some great guest speakers to cover five topics (Sex, Drugs and Alcohol, Bullying, Technology and Social Media, Suicide and Depression).
These are difficult topics and we want to provide you as many resources as possible to continue the conversation at home. A great resource happening next Saturday is the “Living Well with Boundaries” workshop. The workshops will be put on by our Hope Counseling staff. Even better is that there will be workshops specifically for teens! Please mark your calendars and consider joining us for these workshops.
If you are interested in more information on counseling services here at Hope Center, feel free to call (925-689-2382) or check out their page on the website (http://hopecenter.cc/professional-counseling)
The Hope Center library is also full of great resources for all ages. There are a few new additions to the library that we wanted to highlight and encourage you to check out. We hope you find them helpful!
