LIGHTHOUSE MARCH Wednesday Night Teaching SERIES ~ Tough topics: Week 2

Hello Parents!

This week in our Tough Topics series we will be talking about Racism. We will talk a little about the history of slavery in America, as well as mass incarceration and the foster care to prison pipeline. Our key scripture for tonight is 1 Corinthians 12:25-26. As we consider our own ethnic journey and story, the big questions we will think about tonight are: What does it look like to suffer and rejoice with someone?

Follow-up Questions:

  • Were you shocked or surprised by anything you talked about at LH?
  • Have you ever experienced or witnessed racism? (Parents, share your own experiences also)
