Lighthouse is going camping! We have a maximum of 18 student spots available for our sites reserved at Beales Point Recreation Area at Lake Folsom. Mark you calendars for Friday, July 30th – Sunday August 1st.
At this time, as things continue to change with COVID-19 restrictions, we are not ready to set a policy. Based on our previous survey, you can probably expect that masks will be required while in cars. Hope Center has taken the position of abiding by county and state regulations, so we will assess closer to the trip what appropriate mask and other safety procedures are necessary. How to register:
- Pay – we need a $20 nonrefundable deposit to hold your spot. The full amount is needed one week before the trip on July 23rd. Early bird registration is $75 until Sunday, June 27th. Late bird is $89 on or after Monday, June 28th. You can pay by cash or check (made out to Hope Center) any Sunday at church or Wednesday at youth group. You can also pay online through the Hope Center online giving portal by selecting the “Lighthouse Events” tab. 2. Complete and turn in the Youth Ministries Year-long Consent form which can be picked up at Hope Center or downloaded here:
3. Let Katie know if you have a tent or other camping supplies that we can borrow for the weekend. We anticipate, based on our survey about summer, most families prefer students to be in tents with 1 or 2 other people. This means we need a lot of tents.
